![Good Heavens!
A funny thing happened today. Daisy was in my room starting the fire when suddenly cousin- err… brother-in-law, Matthew burst into the room to wake me. He came to tell me I had gone viral!
I screamed in horror at the ghastly prospect! With the Spanish flu being only a recent terror, I panicked and crammed the whole mattress into the fireplace! Daisy ran away instantly (lest Carson find her in the room while this occurred). Matthew just laughed at my hysteria. He then explained to me that “viral” is simply a term for when one’s reputation spreads rapidly, much LIKE a disease. I was positively embarrassed. I’m just happy Sir Anthony wasn’t there to see me.

It seems a number of news outlets have taken an interest in me. Many of them all the way over in the United States! A popular periodical called “USA Today” even featured a photograph of me. How smart!I’m told there is also something called the internet that my photos have been featured on prominently. Internet papers such as Vulture, Gawker, and Buzzfeed (to name a few). Even the US’s National Public Radio is talking about me!
I still am not quite sure how all of this “internet” works. I’ve only just learned to drive, so I think I will take it slow and stick to that for the time being.
And it IS a bit disconcerting that my photographs have been replicated for the ENTIRE WORLD to see. I do hope that if somebody would like to look at my photos they would come straight to me. I don’t mind the attention. Really. It gets quite lonely in this great big house with no one to talk to.
One thing is for certain though. This ought to show Papa and Mary just how clever I can be. I’m sure they will be just thrilled to know that I have a future in journalism of all things!
As for what’s next for me? Who knows? The sky is the limit really! Marriage perhaps? Maybe some day I could even vote!
